Studio 3 NYC
Branding & Identity Design, Cultural Programming & Exhibitions, Communications Strategy
From 2020–2023, I co-founded and directed Studio 3 NYC, an arts initiative that supported working artists through consulting, programming, and exhibitions. I developed the visual identity system and designed all branded materials, from the website and social media campaigns to signage and partnership proposals.

Programming highlights included Neon Soul (2022), an inaugural performing and visual arts showcase at Brooklyn’s Rise Radio; Passion Players (2021–2022), a two-year artist series presented in partnership with the Bronx Brewery; and Sustaining Self (2022), a group exhibition and panel discussion featuring eleven New York–based artists and cultural leaders. These projects built visibility for emerging artists while fostering dialogue around identity, sustainability, and creative community.

Kimber's most recent works are double exposures shot on 35mm film which layer light, texture, and pattern to express emotive spaces. She believes that film photography is magic that captures the pure essence of things and enjoys the playful element of surprise and spontaneity that is present in film. 68 Jay Street, Suite #605 Brooklyn, NYHow do we find the language to sustain our inner selves and build an inner world in dialogue with the world around us? Studio 3 NYC presents Sustaining Self, an exhibition featuring 11 New York-based artists that explores the complex relationship one has with themselves. Using artistic expressions across a range of mediums, the artists interrogate questions of building and maintaining identity, authenticity, autonomy, and self-reflection. Whether through photography, painted portraits, or abstract expressions, each work in Sustaining Self frames a moment of self-actualization, self-care, self-understanding, or reflection on the love or pain of maintaining our identities and staying true to our passions in an ever-changing world. The artists’ creative process in these moments encourages a conversation between our inner experience of self and how we represent that ineffable identity beyond our selves in connection to our communities and the wider world. Wherever they find inspiration or provocation, each artist is ultimately their own muse, and seeks to share their unique inner world with us through their works.
